Setting up Google Search Console using Yoast SEO
Below here is a video tutorial covering all the steps on thee post. I recommend you to watch the video.
1. First of all open google search console and sign in with your blogger account. Then click on add property button from the top left corner!
Now Select Property Type Dialog will appear! In the "URL Prefix" Enter your full Web URL like - "http://www.technautic.epizy.com/"
Click On Continue.
2. It will ask you to verify ownership which means you have to prove that you own the respective website. There are many methods but i am going to use the Yoast SEO to verify.
You have to install the Yoast SEO Plugin to your website.
So, Open your WordPress admin and login to your website.
Then, from sidebar Click on Plugins and Select Add New from the dropdown.
In the search box, enter "Yoast SEO". Then Install and Activate it!
3. After Activation, Click on the Yoast SEO in the sidebar. Then, When it Opens Click on the Configuration Wizard!
And Follow the Steps.
4. Now, After the configuration wizard you have to verify. So from the sidebar in the Yoast SEO menu click on search console and follow the Steps.
5. Click on Get Google Authorization Code. Copy the Code and Place it in the Box. Click On Authenticate.
6. Now go back to Google Search Console and select HTML meta tag verification method.
Copy the meta tag and paste in the editor in the Appearance Section. It has to be Placed below <head> tag.
7. Select Theme Header from the right menu and search for <head> tag and place the code below it. Click Update.
8. Go back to Search Console and click on Verify. Now Your Blog Has been Verified.
9. Now you have to submit the sitemap. First Install Google Sitemap Generator. Click on Settings and Select "XML-Sitemap". After that Configure it's Settings. Then, your Sitemap URL will be displayed as shown in the image.
10. Now Copy the URL and paste into sitemap section of the Search Console. Then Click Submit.
In this way your google search console is verified.
